We have assisted clients on some of the largest and most technically challenging projects in Hong Kong and worldwide, advising their senior management and board members on contractual, commercial and dispute issues.
For larger disputes and claim issues, we often assemble and lead multidisciplinary teams to provide wide-ranging support or a complete standalone service. These teams can include production and technical staff from various disciplines, quantum support, programming, external legal and technical experts, and animation and visual modeling experts. Recent assignments have included:
- CDC acted for the contractor managing the complete commercial claims function for a large cable stayed bridge.
- CDC managed a complex, multidisciplinary dispute for the contractor on a large airport terminal project, successfully resolving the issues through a mediation.
- CDC acted as contract advisors to a contractor for the construction of a major boundary crossing building, setting up the claims administration and management systems at project commencement and providing contractual claims advice and management throughout the construction phase.
